Cookie creations with impressive cookie cutters

Every holiday I bring cakes and other sweet treats for the family gathering in our home in Utah. Since most of my siblings are great cooks that have wonderful recipes under their belts, it always becomes a showdown during thanksgiving and christmas and usually my dad is the one who will judge the best meal of the night. Since deserts are my forte, I tried every year to craft an amazing cake for their palate and be considered the best cook in the family since most of us are trying to win over my dad’s approval every year. This year I will try a different take on the desert and decided that I will serve Russian cookies and peach pie a la mode as a treat. I was also able to find cookie cutters and have a United States cookie cutter delivered to my doorsteps. They also have various amazing pieces that can help me create other designs and shapes from scratch. With cookie cutters I can craft the US map and have it decorated with blue, red and white stripes same as the flag and I can create mini white stars for all of the states. Using this wonderful idea I know that I can wow them with my desert and be able to impress my dad with the taste. I am still trying in perfecting my Russian cookie recipe and thinking of diversifying more the ingredients to make it last longer. I already cannot wait for the family gathering and show them what I have come up with and see their faces in awe for my cookie creation.
